We develop websites that anyone can maintain and adjust themselves. All our websites feature custom code written by WebSideOut in the USA. We find solutions you need based on your individual business and experience. We leverage the power of custom software to speed the process of development past our competition.
We avoid open source content management systems. Why? Simply put, they offer more confusion to new users than they are worth. The features required by most small businesses include the ability to edit content without knowing anything about code. We add on to these basic features as required by each client. The features available on your website will never exceed your abilities.
When you use WebSideOut, you can be confident that your website wasn’t developed outside the United States by someone that can’t be held accountable for their work.
When it comes to updating your website, its as simple as creating an e-mail You literally just fill out a short, very simple form and hit “save” – the changes are made automatically at that instant. You may have as many pages as you would like, but its a good idea to plan around a target number to avoid problems with menuing systems (you don’t want 100 items on a horizontal menu for example). We will help you figure out what your business needs before we begin development, so you don’t have to worry about the details.
Your website will also include the ability to host image galleries. Thumbnails will be created automatically, so you don’t have to waste time resizing images and learning some complex image manipulation program. Sort your images in folders just as you would on your computer to make it easy to reuse the images elsewhere on your website. We have a built-in image library manager to make life easy.
If you don’t have time to make changes to your website, we can do it for you! There is typically no charge for updates (with reasonable limits) for the first year, and updates later can be included with inexpensive website “face-lifts”. Of course, support is around Monday-Friday to help you out on the phone. E-mail support always runs 7 days a week.
